Klinger is hard because his best moments on "M*A*S*H" were often bits in larger shows, like "Big Mac," which I remember Jamie Farr choosing as his favorite show when WNEW/Channel 5 ran a series of cast favorites back in 1980. But Farr would have agreed it's not Klinger's show, any more than "Abyssinia, Henry" was Radar's.

I think "Follies Of The Living-Concerns Of The Dead" does a very good job with Klinger's character as plot fulcrum, and is, for me, one of the few late-period episodes that holds up in the company of Seasons 1-6. It shows how well Farr could balance funny with serious when given room. I pick that.

I agree. One of my favorite Klinger moments is in SSN 6's "War of Nerves", but its such a small scene in the episode that I really couldn't justify putting it on the 10 Best list. But its probably my single favorite Klinger moment in all 11 seasons.
