Kinda cute that Trapper John M.D. is on the list :-).
In the early 80s, articles like this kept popping up. The inroads made by cable, video games, and home video were beginning to shake up network television. It seems quaint now since I'm sure the big three networks would kill to have ratings anywhere near what they were in 1982.
