Wait a second...back up a bit. Go replay the commercial. Do you see what I see?

I don't recall seeing either of these particular scenes in the Pilot, or any other, episode of M*A*S*H:

Of course, the running-up-the-hill shot is famous, but I don't recall ever seeing that blond woman (Nurse Dish?) there before. As to the scene with the dentist...methinks there's a longer version of the M*A*S*H Pilot out there somewhere!

I probably saw this exact ad when it aired, since I watched "Goodbye Farewell, and Amen" when most of the Free World did--February 28, 1983!

Love the custom graphics, BTW--CBS obviously figured this show was worth spending the couple extra bucks!
