I love the idea of 20th Century Fox sending out promo stills of the goat.

M*A*S*H Ad: "The Yalu Brick Road"

This ad is clever, if awkward...they took a shot of Klinger from Season Eight's "Too Many Cooks (when he changed the Mess Tent into Chez Klinger) and used it for this episode, which, plot-wise, sort of sounds like it matches.

Hawkeye, for his part, just looks annoyed.

M*A*S*H Ad: "Guerilla My Dreams"

It took me a minute or two to figure out what episode they were talking about here...then I saw that small shot Mako in the center, which would mean this was for Season Eight's "Guerilla My Dreams." Not the most accurate write-up...

A very silly write-up for what was one the show's more serious episodes. I guess the copywriter just couldn't resist.

Not sure when this blurb is from, presumably its sometime around late 1983 or 1984, when some stations were re-running the final episode. The blurb itself is remarkably well-written; methinks who ever wrote it was a M*A*S*H fan.

What I also find interesting is that still of the four doctors--I've never seen that particular promo shot before. Its not a scene from the show, so its some sort of staged PR piece.

This was a tough one--I'm guessing it was from Season Seven's "Rally 'Round The Flagg, Boys" where Col. Flagg accused Hawkeye of being a Commie.

Of course, he did that in every episode...

This ad actually managed to get the episode title in, albeit indirectly. I wonder what other show made up this channel's "Great new comedy hour"?

This ad isn't about the episode per se, but since "As Time Goes By" was the last episode of M*A*S*H filmed, it was at this shoot that all the press showed up to watch history being made.

I'm not sure what "making of" special this is--probably 1981's Making M*A*S*H--in any case, its fairly unusual for a UHF station to run a special like this.

Sad to say, I still have never seen it!
