This must have been timed for the weekend just before.<br /><br />I was watching on that night more than thirty years ago, and yes, there was a big build up then, too, with the New York City affiliate (I think the same one responsible for this ad) having a special talking about such things as the filming of the last episode and a party that was being held at Alan Alda's old college.
